Youth Programs

Looking Forward

For almost 10 years we have had the opportunity to have a Youth Programs Coordinator working within our affiliate, primarily in an AmeriCorps role. We’re proud that we’ve been able to connect to youth in the community and it has been a joy and a pleasure. However, as with many organizations, we are feeling the economic pinch. While we feel that the Youth Programs position is very important, we do need to put all monies raised toward our primary mission of building homes.

Sadly, at this time we feel that it is necessary to suspend our Youth Programs while we take a mission-driven approach to serving the Greater Portland community and increasing our affordable housing impact. We do appreciate your thoughts and ideas and will work to fulfill requests for community & school presentations when feasible.
