Jim Shula, owner of the Salt Water Workshop in Buxton, donated to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland a sign he created for our volunteer housing.  Jim is seen here presenting the hand carved sign to Kate Callahan, our volunteer manager.

Portland Mattress Makers

Many thanks to George Samaris, and the good

folks at Portland Mattress Makers. We had a

need for mattresses to be used by our volunteers when they come to the area to work at our

worksites, and stay overnight.  Portland Mattress Makers stepped up and provided us with a

donation of 9 brand new twin mattresses,          

and even delivered them to the site!
