2-1-1 Maine, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) whose mission is to connect anyone in Maine who wants to give help or get help with a full range of health and human services in their community.
United Ways of Maine, in collaboration with Ingraham, have established 2-1-1 Maine, Inc. as an efficient and effective response to the growing complexities and needs in health, social economic and human services.

Creating Assets, Savings & Hope
CA$H Greater Portland, managed by United Way of Greater Portland, is a partnership of community leaders and industry experts encouraging families and individuals in Cumberland County to increase income, reduce debt, save for the future and achieve financial stability. CA$H Greater Portland is a year-round resource for the community, offering free tax preparation to qualified filers during tax season, helping employers bring financial education tools to their employees, and educating hard-working residents about how they can make the most of their money.
Institute for Financial Literacy
The mission of the Institute for Financial Literacy is to make effective financial literacy education available for all American adults.
The Institute for Financial Literacy is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non profit organization founded in 2002 in Portland, Maine. The Institute is funded by program fees, private donations, and grants from public and private foundations. The Institute is an educational organization focused on presenting unbiased, neutral information to its clients and advancing professionalism and effectiveness in its field. The Institute does not create debt repayment plans, negotiate debts for its clients, or sell financial products of any type.
Maine State Housing Authority
MaineHousing is an independent state agency that bridges public and private housing finance, combining them to benefit Maine’s low and moderate-income people. MaineHousing brings millions of new private and federal housing funds to Maine annually to create safe, affordable, warm housing.
The mission of the Maine State Housing Authority is to assist Maine people to obtain and maintain decent, safe, affordable housing and services suitable to their unique housing needs. Our mission is to preserve and revitalize homes in the Greater Portland community, assuring that low-income homeowners, from the elderly and disabled to families with children, live in warmth, safety, and independence. In partnership with local corporations and communities, our goal is to make a sustainable impact.
Rebuilding Together*Greater Portland is a volunteer non-profit organization that performs maintenance and rehabilitation work - free of charge - for elderly, disabled and low-income people. Formerly called "Christmas in April," the Greater Portland Organization is local chapter of a National Organization with more than 260 chapters nationwide who provide their services during a one-day blitz in the spring.
